The kitty is Chopper, now named CJ (for Chopper Jr.) who was adopted in January. He is pictured in his new home with his new brother Chopper. I think it's safe to say that it's going well!
This is Dancer (now Luna) who was adopted December 17 and born on October 22 with her 2 siblings in foster care. She is growing very fast and loves to climb everywhere. We would love to see see how her sibling are doing.
It's been a while since I posted an update but Louie (formerly Ravioli) is doing great! He's become such a big boy and now that him and my other boy Charlie moved into my mums with the other two cats he has lots of friends and people to play with. He's never far from my side and is the cuddliest animal I've ever owned and everyone who meets him falls in love with how adorable he is when he wants attention. He's certainly a very happy cat!
I adopted one of my kittens from the Burlington Humane Society back in Oct of 2014 (he Is the smaller one) His name originally was Pugsly but I changed it to Memphis. He has brought so much joy to my household and wanted to thank the human society for what they do and the caring staff that take care of these beautiful fur babies
We adopted our cat Ming on Sunday February 8. Her name is now Mercedes. She has adapted so well to our family. She slept on our bed with us the first night and it has only been 4 days and she feels very much a part of the family. She sleeps on the couch on her new bed and is slowly coming around. She is a little skittish still but it is still early in the transition. We are so thankful for the Burlington Humane Society for treating her so well and making her feel a part of their family. I believe if you all hadn't taken care of her so well, she would still be having a hard time getting close to us. Thank you for everything and we will keep in touch on Mercedes and our time together. She is an awesome kitty and a great addition to our family.
We adopted Wallis (was Mama Cass) from BHS a year ago. This his her at the vet's for her annual check-up and vaccines. I do wish she would not get so stressed out. Lol! Such a sweet silly girl.
First sunny day after a looooooooong winter? Priceless! The BHS volunteer told us that she was pretty easy going - "She just needs food and a window, and she'll be happy." She couldn't have been more accurate!
We adopted Zoey November 28th, 2014 from BHS! Clawing through stress and a shy personality she has really come to amaze us! 2 months later, she now prefers to be the centre of attention and most vocal family member.. She also loves to play fetch to stay in shape!
Kitten adopted on Jan. 18 is doing very well. He has settled into his new home and loving it! He is very playful and loves to cuddle. He loves to hang out with us when we are home. His name is Sushi (formerly Pumba).
That's Oliver (formally Bam Bam) and Prince (formally Atreyu). They were both adopted from BHS at separate times and are the best of friends!
My husband and I adopted Cliff (born Feb 14, 2012) in April, 2012 after his puppy photo was posted by Happy Tails Pet Photography. We were convinced he was a Belgian Malinois X, and his Mum looked like a total X of any number of breeds. For Christmas, I got his breed results through DNA My Dog. We were SO surprised that not only is there no Shepherd in him, he is Level 2 Boxer, Level 2 Siberian Husky! Here is Cliff with his sister, Dharma.
And his puppy picture-
Mork and Mindy January 2015. They have become a great part of our family and still make us laugh everyday! Mork is quite the explorer and Mindy has become a little bit too chubby.
(January 28th, 2015) It's Mork and Mindy's 1st Birthday today! We celebrated with some party hats and pate cake!
About 10 yrs ago, a co-worker (Nicole) and I just happen to be talking about our long haired cats. Nicole and her sister, Laura each got a cat at the same time ...through you at your old location, as I did. The kittens they got were sisters. Turns out all our cats are sisters to each other!!! They all had names that started with the letter "M". Mine was originally called Millie. I adopted mine on Feb 21/2000. They all just turn 15 years. Happy belated birthday girls!! The picture of the 3 of them (Mollie, Meika, Tink) was from when they were in foster care. The individual pictures are fairly current.
