In April 2014, Karen walked into Burlington Humane for Feed and Clean training, wondering if exposure to all the wonderful animals would mean another feline friend in the future…..
It did!
Following a short foster, Smith soon became a member of the family , “brother” to Sushi, another shelter rescue.
Karen welcomes the opportunity to work on the Board, sharing with others in the passion of Burlington Humane.
